Sweden can boast several really capable wine connoisseurs and sommeliers. Ulf is something as unusual as a combination of both. He is alone in having acquired a star in the Michelin Guide as well as winning Sopexa’s championships for Swedish sommeliers in French wines and spirits. His career has seen various sojourns in the world of gastronomy as a renowned chef, sommelier, restaurateur and wine importer. His establishments have included Grythyttan as well as numerous restaurants in Göteborg: The Place, Göstas, Fiskekrogen and Basement. Today, Ulf runs the well-known and legendary restaurant Sjömagasinet in Gothenburg.
